Crime - Mystery

Two Days Gone – by Randall Silvis

Thomas Huston, a beloved professor and bestselling author, is something of a local hero in the small Pennsylvania college town where he lives and teaches. So when Huston’s wife and children are found brutally murdered in their home, the community reacts with shock and anger. Huston has also mysteriously disappeared, and suddenly, the town celebrity is suspect number one.

Thomas is someone to be proud of, but this story line will make you HATE him and then LOVE him. If your a fan of crime and mystery genres then this is a book for you. There are a few highs and lows in this book, when you get how the rest of the book is going to play out, it changes. At the snap of your fingers. The ending was not what I had expected!

This book also seems to touch a little on mental health, possible mental illness. Its not really discussed bout in the book, but the characters behaviours do point in this direction. The thought process of Thomas is a little different, but at the same time, you can’t forget that his family was brutally murdered. Is it guilty, is it frustrations, is it anger? You’ll have to read it to find out!

Another book you will not be able to put down, Randall Silvis, did an amazing job writing this story. The way the words are strung together are like music. I am a fan of stories that create an image in your head, this book will be a MINI movie in your head. I promise Two Days Gone, will please ever need!
